SPRING STEEL impressed on grass in an exciting debut despite needing a tough ride. The Kahal gelding finished a close third in the Pinnacle Stakes and escapes with no penalty. Expect him fitter and ready to shine on his polytrack debut at a lower class.

Grey gelding BAH was ridden shrewdly, staying closer than usual before a late burst took him to victory here with minimal penalty. VARISTAR enjoys this surface and should bounce back in this race.
