This weekend’s headline fixture features a struggling Rangers taking on Aberdeen for the second time within five days – a showdown that promises fireworks on the pitch. Meanwhile, Celtic will be looking to continue their winning momentum as they host Motherwell at Parkhead, fresh from clinching the Scottish League Cup for the 17th time.
Down the table, Ross County will welcome Dundee, who just pulled off a thrilling 2-1 victory over Rangers. Partick Thistle are aiming to capitalise on Hibernian’s recent shaky form in their encounter at Firhill Stadium.

Saturday 2 December
St. Johnstone 21/20 | Draw 9/4 | Kilmarnock 51/20
St. Johnstone are coming off a break since their hard-earned 2-1 win against Hibernian on 18 November, snapping a five-game streak without a win. Manager Tommy Wright will be confident against a Kilmarnock team that has lingered near the bottom since the season began. After being dominated 3-1 by Aberdeen recently, Killie will find it tough to claim points here. Back the Saints to secure the win.
Partick Thistle 36/10 | Draw 26/10 | Hibernian 7/10
Partick Thistle are rooted to the bottom with a poor goal difference and face a tough home battle against the in-form Hibs. While they managed a draw against Hearts last time, Hibernian’s attacking firepower is likely to overpower them. Neil Lennon’s side have stumbled recently, but the away win looks the sensible call to keep their pursuit of the top spots alive.
Ross County 21/20 | Draw 24/10 | Dundee 23/10
Ross County managed a gritty draw last weekend thanks to goalkeeping heroics, but the team’s position has slipped to ninth. Dundee’s stunning 2-1 triumph over Rangers could give them the confidence boost they need away from home. With both teams low scorers, this one could be tight – under 2.5 goals looks a smart bet.
Hearts 15/20 | Draw 26/10 | Hamilton 32/10
At Tynecastle, Hearts have been wasteful in front of goal, drawing their last five outings. Hamilton, on the rise with five unbeaten, are looking to snatch points, including a historic win recently at Ibrox. The away double chance offers great value as Hamilton continue their climb.
Celtic 1/7 | Draw 13/2 | Motherwell 14/1
Celtic bounced back impressively after their crushing PSG defeat by bagging the League Cup with a confident 2-0 win over Motherwell. They meet again at Parkhead and will be eager to dominate once more. Motherwell, having missed out on silverware, might find it tough here. Celtic’s stingy defence has only conceded six goals this season, so a clean sheet win is highly likely.
Sunday 3 December
Aberdeen 33/20 | Draw 24/10 | Rangers 29/20
Finishing off the week, Aberdeen face Rangers in a unique situation with two fixtures just days apart. The first at Ibrox on Wednesday, followed by Pittodrie on Sunday. Aberdeen, enjoying a prime chance to consolidate second place, will be motivated. Rangers’ recent poor form adds more pressure. Despite some struggles, Aberdeen should have what it takes to get points here.
