Race 1: THE NORTH FACE (1)
Jockey: B Lerena – Trainer: D Howells
THE NORTH FACE has demonstrated good potential in his four starts so far. Expect improvement after a less impressive run on course and distance recently. Notably, Bedazzled Joker who came 11th in that race went on to win a tough contest, highlighting the strength of the form. This Mogok colt will be in top condition and, drawing a handy barrier, is poised to perform very well.

Jockey: A Marcus – Trainer: D Howells
GREEN FAIRY has been consistent, though she narrowly missed out last month despite wearing blinkers on the polytrack. The runner-up Magic Flame confirmed the strength of that form with a strong subsequent win. Moving to the grass may benefit this Gimmethegreenlight filly, especially with top jockey Marcus aboard.

GREEN FAIRY (1) |
Jockey: A Delpech – Trainer: F Robinson
The three-year-olds could make a difference in this ten furlong maiden race. The Mogok colt, TOP CLASSMAN, remains a colt but looks ready to improve. He challenged hard before finishing a close third over a longer trip recently and will be in peak condition today. He holds the narrow favouritism and is the only runner from his yard on the day.

TOP CLASSMAN (10) |
Jockey: B Lerena – Trainer: D Bosch
SUN ON AFRICA is a versatile seasoned runner who showed a bright return performance over the course and distance three weeks ago. He won by 2.5 lengths ahead of Dance On Air, who he faces again today but at just 1kg heavier. Carrying top weight and racing handy, he should come fitter and competitive.

Race 8: A WOMENS WAY (2)
Jockey: D Schwarz – Trainer: A Wright
The four-year-old filly, A WOMENS WAY, might spring a surprise in this competitive handicap. Trained by Duncan Howells, she has struggled to find her juvenile form again and has been competing against much tougher rivals. This will be her first run of the season and she drops five pounds in her merit rating, making her a strong contender at this lower level. She won a notable feature at this track and distance in only her second career start and reunites with her top jockey, who helped her win her debut and achieve runner-up finish last season.
