The Titans suffered a setback after a comprehensive loss to the Dolphins on Friday, but coach Mark Boucher will have his team focused and ready to unleash their best against a Warriors side full of surprises.

The Warriors battled during the campaign but showed resilience with formidable wins over the Dolphins and the Knights recently. The batting hopes rest heavily on Gilhahn Cloete, who has been in sensational form with 490 runs at an average over 55. Can Cloete lead the Warriors to an upset? We’ll find out soon enough.

Prediction: Multiply Titans 42/100
With a stronger batting line-up and depth, the Titans look set to overpower the Warriors and progress comfortably to the final.

Cape Cobras vs Dolphins | Wednesday 31 January | Newlands, Cape Town | 13:30

Match Odds
Cape Cobras | Tie 35/1 | Dolphins 5/4

The Hollywoodbets Dolphins have proved to be the Cobras’ kryptonite this season, with Cape Town side yet to land a win against them across formats.

Ashwell Prince and the Cobras will be aiming to end this hoodoo as they enter the semi-finals off the back of solid wins over the Warriors, while the Dolphins continue their dominant run highlighted by a smashing victory over the Titans.

Key battles will be crucial, especially with the Dolphins’ trio of spinners – Keshav Maharaj, Prenelan Subrayen, and Senuran Muthusamy – expected to apply pressure on the likes of Pieter Malan and JP Duminy. Malan, regardless, has been a tournament star, amassing 611 runs at a remarkable average close to 68.

Team-wise, skipper Khaya Zondo might miss out as he joins the national squad, with Sibonelo Makhanya expected to fill in. The finger-spin attack will be pivotal on Newlands’ spinner-friendly pitch.

Prediction: Hollywoodbets Dolphins 5/4
Expect the Dolphins to maintain their dominant form against the Cobras, with their spinners likely to play a decisive role in their favour. That 5/4 price is well worth backing!
