Rabian Engelbrecht, the fierce seamer from Hollywoodbets Dolphins, stole the show with an impressive five-wicket haul on a gruelling day at the Pietermaritzburg Oval during their Sunfoil Series battle with the WSB Cape Cobras on Saturday.

The third day was also marked by a splendid century from Cobras’ middle-order star Aviwe Mgijima.
The day kicked off with Mgijima reaching his second first-class hundred, setting the tone before the Cobras were bowled out for 350, leading by 65 runs.
Engelbrecht’s second first-class five-for proved crucial for the Dolphins, although they let the Cobras’ lower order off lightly, as Dane Piedt and Dane Paterson supported Mgijima to secure a strong position.
The Dolphins began their second innings on a steady note, reaching 39 before losing Sarel Erwee who scored 24. The partnership between Morné van Wyk and Vaughn van Jaarsveld then propelled the Dolphins into the lead until van Wyk was caught and bowled by debutant Junaid Dawood for 45.
Van Jaarsveld reached another half-century, partnering with captain Khaya Zondo for a 56-run partnership for the third wicket. Unfortunately, the Dolphins lost both in quick succession, with Van Jaarsveld dismissed for 57 and Zondo for 25.
Dane Vilas scored 16 before Senuran Muthusamy fell for 17, giving Dawood his second wicket as the Dolphins found themselves wobbling at 202 for 6.
Yet again, it was Rob Frylinck providing valuable lower-order runs, adding a crucial 40-run stand with Prenelan Subrayen, who contributed 13 runs.
Frylinck and Engelbrecht will resume their innings on day four with scores of 34 and 6 respectively, holding a lead of 195 runs.
