Alexandre Lacazette broke the deadlock early for Arsene Wenger’s men before Olivier Giroud came on to seal the deal with a stunning brace. Adding to the excitement, superstars Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil also found the net, rounding off a remarkable team performance.

Match Rundown

The Gunners hit the ground running, with Lacazette slotting home thanks to a slick flick from Aaron Ramsey. Despite Huddersfield’s best efforts and the roaring support from their fans, Arsenal dominated proceedings.

Early opportunities came thick and fast, including a volley from Ramsey that just sailed over the bar. Huddersfield had their moments too – a threatening break by Steve Mounie was denied by a quick-thinking Petr Cech, and a close chance from a free-kick was narrowly off target.

Lacazette nearly doubled his tally with a clever chip over the keeper, only for the ball to be scrambled off the line by Martin Cranie. Huddersfield showed counter attack intent but were consistently thwarted by Arsenal’s solid defence and goalkeeper’s brilliance.

The second half saw a tactical substitution as Lacazette made way for Giroud, who immediately made an impact. Although Giroud narrowly missed doubling the lead, he quickly made amends by netting after a perfect assist from Ozil.

Minutes later, Sanchez powered home another goal following Ozil’s clever pass. The German maestro then added his own goal with a cheeky flick past the keeper, and Giroud completed the scoring in spectacular fashion late in the game.
