EPL-Week-7-Preview

Last weekend was a cracker with goals galore, major upsets and thrilling encounters. Let’s dive into what week 7 of the EPL has in store!

Arsenal have truly reinvented themselves, showing top form as they crushed their rivals Chelsea 3-0 last weekend. Chelsea, under Antonio Conte, seem strong on paper but struggled on the pitch. Meanwhile, Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United dazzled with a 4-0 first half hammering of reigning champs Leicester City. Despite this, Leicester looked a better side than Chelsea across the board.

Week 7 promises some exciting clashes ahead of the October internationals, highlighted by a top-of-the-table showdown between leaders Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur. Pep Guardiola’s side are currently unstoppable, but Spurs will surely feel confident after their double league wins over City last season.

Friday 30 September
Everton 7/10 | Draw 28/10 | Crystal Palace 15/4
Everton’s unbeaten run ended as Bournemouth’s Junior Stanislas blasted a superb winner last Saturday. Now on a two-game losing streak, the Toffees face Crystal Palace at Goodison Park. Palace have a strong recent record at Everton’s ground, remaining unbeaten with two wins. The Eagles are in good nick themselves, unbeaten in four with three consecutive wins. The draw at 28/10 looks a fair bet.

Saturday 1 October
Swansea 52/10 | Draw 7/2 | Liverpool 9/20
Swansea have struggled to find form with no wins in five games, including a 3-1 loss to Man City. But their spirited display against the leaders gives hope ahead of Liverpool’s visit. Jurgen Klopp’s Reds are looking dominant after a 5-1 thrashing of Hull City, winning three in a row. Yet they seek their first clean sheet.
Backing Liverpool to win with Both Teams To Score at 7/4 is our tip.

Hull City 11/2 | Draw 34/20 | Chelsea 9/20
Hull City appear relegation-threatened after four matches without a win, conceding 11 goals. Chelsea, eyeing redemption after their Arsenal thrashing, face the Tigers at Hull. Conte’s Blues will rotate heavily and should bounce back but won’t keep a clean sheet. Back Chelsea Win + Both Teams To Score at 2/1.

Sunderland 14/10 | Draw 22/10 | West Brom 2/1
Sunderland are still searching for their first league win, now bottom of the table after losing a 2-0 lead to Crystal Palace last time. West Brom have dominated recent meetings and are unbeaten in their last two, including a win over West Ham. West Brom at 2/1 is worth the punt.

Watford 13/10 | Draw 23/10 | Bournemouth 21/10
Watford were disappointed to fall 2-0 to Burnley after showing promising form previously. Bournemouth head into this game on the back of a confidence-boosting win against Everton. Even with no away wins this season, confidence is high. We fancy Watford to bounce back at home.

West Ham 11/10 | Draw 47/20 | Middlesbrough 5/2
West Ham’s form has stalled, with just one win so far and five defeats. Key players need to step up. Middlesbrough have lost three straight and both sides have leaky defences.
Backing Both Teams To Score at 15/20 looks promising.

Sunday 2 October
Manchester United 3/10 | Draw 9/2 | Stoke City 9/1
Manchester United blew away Leicester City 4-1 with a stellar first-half showing. Mourinho’s side, sans Rooney, impressed with goals from Smalling, Mata, Rashford, and Pogba. Stoke are struggling, winless in six with four defeats, playing more attractive football but still lacking results.
Man United at 3/10 is a safe bet and should be included in multiples.

Tottenham 47/20 | Draw 49/20 | Manchester City 11/10
The headline fixture sees Tottenham host Manchester City. Spurs won both league games against City last season, including a 4-1 rout at White Hart Lane. Pochettino’s men aim to repeat that feat, but City are flying high with 10 straight wins and 30 goals scored in all competitions.
It promises to be an electrifying match as both teams push attacking football.

Leicester City 5/4 | Draw 23/10 | Southampton 22/10
Leicester look a shadow of their title-winning selves, already losing more away games this season than last. Returning to the King Power Stadium, unbeaten in three with two wins, offers some hope against a Southampton side on a four-game winning streak, scoring nine and not conceding.
Expect a tight contest with the draw at 23/10 as the tip.

Burnley 7/1 | Draw 38/10 | Arsenal 7/20
Burnley secured a solid 2-0 win over Watford, showing defensive resilience at Turf Moor. Arsenal, firing on all cylinders after their resounding 3-0 victory over Chelsea, face a tough challenge.
The Gunners boast unbeaten runs and an impressive goal tally.
Arsenal Win + Over 2.5 Goals at 9/10 is tipped.

TREBLE @ 64/10
Chelsea Win + BTTS 2/1
Man United 3/10
Arsenal Win + Over 2.5 Goals 9/10
