The 2017 F1 season’s penultimate showdown takes place at the iconic Autodromo Jose Carlos Pace on Sunday, 12 November.
The 2017 F1 Championship is wrapping up fast, with just two thrilling races left before the chequered flag waves. Although Lewis Hamilton has already sealed his fourth World Championship after finishing ninth in Mexico, the excitement is far from over.
Max Verstappen’s recent win shows there’s plenty of value to bet on, with the young Dutch talent priced in the lower teens for a win in Brazil.
Recap of the Previous Race
Lewis Hamilton might not have dominated the way he wanted whilst clinching his title, but he matched Sebastian Vettel’s record for World Championships with that ninth place finish in Mexico. His race was unfortunately marred by an early clash with Vettel.
Valtteri Bottas shone with a strong second-place finish behind Max Verstappen, who impressed at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez and rightfully took first place.
Two Finns finished on the podium with Kimi Raikkonen third, benefiting from the Hamilton-Vettel collision. Vettel took fourth, but it wasn’t enough to keep his title hopes alive. Esteban Ocon and Lance Stroll rounded out the top six, with Sergio Perez (7th), Kevin Magnussen (8th), and Fernando Alonso (10th) also strong in the top ten.

About the Track
The Autodromo Jose Carlos Pace, hosting its first Grand Prix in 1976, remains a fan and driver favourite. Beyond the beautiful São Paulo sunshine and beaches, the passionate local fans – inspired by F1 legend Ayrton Senna – truly energise the event. The circuit spans 305.909 km over 71 laps, each lap 4.309 km with 15 challenging corners.
Featuring long straights that favour high-speed racing, the track offers two DRS zones between corners 3 and 4 and along the start/finish straight, setting the stage for plenty of overtaking. Showers and thunderstorms are expected in Friday’s practice and qualifying sessions, but race day looks set for clear skies.
Last year, Lewis Hamilton scored his first victory here, with Nico Rosberg second and rising star Max Verstappen securing third.
Top Value Bets
Podium Finish – Kimi Raikkonen – Yes – 11/4
‘The Iceman’ has a soft spot for Brazil, having won in 2007 and narrowly missed the podium in his last three visits. Buoyed by his recent podium in Mexico, expect Kimi to climb onto the podium again this weekend.
Fastest Qualifier – Lewis Hamilton 66/100
Hamilton has nailed 11 poles out of 18 so far this year. Although Vettel outpaced him in Mexico, Mercedes’ strong track record here suggests Hamilton will clinch pole position number 12 on Saturday.
Race Winner – Sebastian Vettel 7/2
This is a somewhat speculative pick, but Vettel has suffered tough luck recently after securing poles only to crash out. The experienced German is due for a resurgence and is the only multiple Brazilian GP winner on the grid. We’re backing a solid win from Vettel here.
