Hollywoodbets Dolphins Denied by Rain Again in RAM SLAM T20 | Hollywoodbets Sports Blog

Kingsmead Rained Out Again - Durban - Cricket Stadium - Rain

In this year’s RAM SLAM T20 competition, the Hollywoodbets Dolphins faced the frustration of rain once again, with their match against the bizhub Highveld Lions called off without a single ball bowled – the fifth such occurrence in just eight matches!

Durban was battered by persistent rain throughout the week, meaning the Sahara Stadium’s covers at Kingsmead stayed firmly in place on Wednesday. The umpires made the call to abandon the fixture shortly after 6pm.

This no-result meant the Dolphins and Lions each picked up two points, pushing them into a tie for second place on the RAM SLAM points table alongside the WSB Cape Cobras. Meanwhile, the Kimberley clash between the Cobras and VKB Knights was underway.

Looking ahead, the Dolphins head to Bloemfontein on Friday for a crucial match against the Knights. With the middle of the table jam-packed—five of the six franchises separated by just a few points—this match has become vital. The Multiply Titans continue to lead the pack with an unbeaten streak of six wins and two no-results.

After their Bloemfontein visit, the Dolphins return home to face the Titans in a nail-biting encounter on Sunday afternoon that could shape the season.
