Billionaire Mario Ho is emphatically denying rampant gossip suggesting he fathered a child with a woman outside his marriage and had an affair with his half-sister.
The 30-year-old Mario Ho is one of the late Stanley Ho’s 17 children. Known as the “King of Gambling,” Stanley Ho, who passed away in May 2020, held a monopoly over slot machines and table games in Macau for decades until Portugal transitioned the city to Chinese sovereignty in 1999.
The Ho family is one of the wealthiest in Asia; Mario is the product of his father’s fourth marriage to Angela Leong.
Mario is charting his own course, investing his inheritance into esports and the hospitality sector. As the founder of NIP Group, an esports firm, he’s working to push competitive video gaming into mainstream entertainment. Ho lamented, “And now there’s a rumor involving my own sister! My god, some people’s imaginations are outrageous.” He noted that while he typically doesn’t respond to gossip, these particular fabrications have affected not only him but also the people close to him.
“My family’s name is being dragged through the mud. Let me be clear: every single one of these rumors is false,” Ho stated firmly.

Pansy Ho holds a critical share in MGM China, a subsidiary of MGM Resorts International.
For much of his life, Stanley Ho lived in a form of polygamy, a practice that was legal in Hong Kong until 1971.
