Meet the 14 Proteas Women Awarded Contracts: Exciting Season Ahead! | Hollywoodbets Sports Blog

Cricket South Africa (CSA) has proudly announced the Momentum Proteas women’s squad members who have earned national contracts for the upcoming period from 1 May 2018 to 30 April 2019.

We’re thrilled to welcome Raisibe Ntozakhe from Gauteng as the newest addition to this illustrious list of players.

“This is set to be an incredibly busy and challenging season for our women’s national team,” shares Corrie van Zyl, CSA’s General Manager: Cricket. “With a home series against Bangladesh in May, followed by tours to England and the West Indies, and then the ICC Women’s World T20 in the West Indies this November, capped off by a home series against Sri Lanka, the road ahead is thrilling.”

“The respect and admiration for our women’s team, especially after reaching the semi-finals of last year’s ICC Women’s World Cup, is clear with their invitation to a major tour of England, featuring a T20 triangular series against England and New Zealand.”

“Building on recent successes is vital as we prepare for the Women’s World T20 this year.”

“I extend warm congratulations to all players awarded national contracts. A big thank you to Momentum for their ongoing generous support of our women’s cricket team,” concludes Van Zyl.
