Winning Form brings you their best bets and tips for Flamingo Park’s racing on Monday the 8th of January 2018. Tips come from Winning Form itself and the back page expert, Magic Tips by eMeM.
Race 1: CHAILYN BOY(3)
Race 5: RUSSIAN SAINT(6)
Race 6: MANOUCHE(2)
Race 10: SUNSET BOULEVARD(13)

Jockey: Shadlee FORTUNE – Trainer: Bill HUMAN
This race is a very weak maiden contest, so be cautious. THE DICTATOR showed marked improvement recently in PE over ten furlongs and could perform well if he copes with this surface. The PE visitor is fitter for the run and has the advantage of pole position. PETER THE WAILER is making his Kimberley debut after starting his career on the Highveld. He’s better than his last two runs suggest and should make an impact if he adapts to the track.
Race 6: MANOUCHE(2)
Jockey: Muzi YENI – Trainer: Coerie LENSLEY
MANOUCHE exceeded expectations when finishing runner-up in a Pinnacle Stakes here three weeks ago and escaped a penalty due to the nature of the race. He is well-handicapped for this lower level and is drawn in the ideal gate.
Race 7: EASY TO PLEASE(2)
Jockey: Jarryd PENNY – Trainer: Jarett RUGG
The talented sprinter EASY TO PLEASE wrapped up 2017 with a strong win here, beating PONT DU GARD, who is today’s main rival. He has a favourable draw and looks a solid chance.
Jockey: Ryan MUNGER – Trainer: Stephanie MILLER
Keep an eye on Notacademicatall (running in race 6) and Klondike River (race 8), as WARBASH recently performed well behind both at this course and distance. Despite a wide barrier, his frontrunning style and current form should secure him a strong finish, with a promising young jockey in the saddle.
Race 3: DANCING DUDE(10)
Jockey: Muzi YENI – Trainer: Coerie LENSLEY
The lightly raced DANCING DUDE is expected to keep improving after a good run dropping to the minimum distance recently. The extra furlong here should suit his running style well.
