This maiden race is exciting mainly because top jockey Delpech is riding. He teamed up with the promising chestnut gelding SAND PATH, who finished a clear second on the polytrack last time despite being green. Trainer Bosch’s charge has lots of potential if he can settle better in the race.
Race 4: IRISH MARSH(7)
Jockey: K De Melo – Trainer: F Robinson
IRISH MARSH loved the step up in distance, finishing strongly for 2nd place on the polytrack earlier this month. As a daughter of Irish Flame, she’s expected to keep improving. However, she faces a wide draw on her first grass run today, which could be challenging.

ROMAN COURTESAN was given a mediocre ride last time but finished well for 3rd on the polytrack over a mile. Trainer Humby has opted for Marcus today, which is a strong statement. The four-year-old bay filly is expected to appreciate the increase in distance and has excellent chances if she performs as she did previously over a similar trip. She is the only runner from her stable on race day.
