Everton kept their unbeaten streak shining bright under Sam Allardyce, rallying from a goal down to triumph 3-1 against rock-bottom Swansea at the iconic Goodison Park on Monday evening.

Despite falling behind when Leroy Fer capitalised on a corner 10 minutes before the break, Allardyce’s men showed true grit. They equalised right before halftime thanks to Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s poise to score after Wayne Rooney’s penalty was expertly saved.
The excitement didn’t end there! Gylfi Sigurdsson electrified the crowd with a stunning long-range strike midway through the second half, putting Everton ahead. Rooney then sealed the comeback with a clinical penalty, marking a fourth consecutive unbeaten game with Allardyce at the helm.
First Half Action
The opening 45 minutes saw Everton struggling, gifting possession and allowing Swansea multiple chances. Luciano Narsingh had an early opportunity after linking with Tammy Abraham but shot straight at Jordan Pickford in the seventh minute.
Later, Rooney had a lively spell but couldn’t find the target, and Fer’s corner delivery finally broke the deadlock. Everton’s defence was caught napping, letting Fer sneak behind Ashley Williams to slot home.
Just before halftime, Everton earned a penalty after Lennon was fouled inside the box, though Rooney’s attempt was parried, only for Calvert-Lewin to follow up and net the leveller.
Second Half Highlights
The Toffees showed resilience but initially lacked cutting edge. Sigurdsson’s spectacular 22-yard strike in the 64th minute revitalised the home side, steering the ball perfectly into the right corner.
Rooney’s cool head was on display again with another penalty awarded after a controversial foul, which he converted with power to secure the win.
Though Calvert-Lewin missed a late chance to extend the lead further, Everton’s spirit and determination shone through, thrilling fans and extending their unbeaten run.
