A winner of the prestigious Ballon d’Or in 2005, Ronaldinho played a pivotal role in Brazil clinching the 2002 World Cup. He’s perhaps best remembered for his spell at Barcelona from 2003 to 2008, where he netted an impressive 94 goals in 207 matches across all tournaments.

“He has stopped, it is ended,” shared his brother and agent, Roberto Assis. “We will organise various events across Brazil, Europe and Asia, and of course, we have plans underway with the Brazilian national team too.”

Ronaldinho began his journey in football with Grêmio in his hometown Porto Alegre before making a notable move to Paris Saint-Germain in 2001. His remarkable performances over two seasons in France earned him a switch to Barcelona.

In 2008, he transitioned to AC Milan following five phenomenal years in Catalonia. Although his prime gradually waned, his legacy of flair and brilliance remains unmatched. He returned to Brazil in 2011 to conclude his legendary career.

Forever remembered as one of the most skillful football talents of his era, Ronaldinho’s captivating style brought magic to the pitch like few others have.
