Is Alexis Sanchez Heading to Manchester United? | Hollywoodbets Sports Blog

Two players chasing the soccer ball

Alexis Sanchez’s future will be decided within the next 48 hours, after the Arsenal striker was surprisingly left out of the squad for their recent defeat at Bournemouth.

Both Manchester United and Manchester City have been on the lookout for Sanchez, who, at 29 years old, is out of contract next summer and has yet to commit to a new deal with Arsenal.

Sanchez was notably omitted from the Arsenal lineup for the 2-1 defeat at Bournemouth, with manager Arsène Wenger citing the player’s vague stance on his future.

Post-match, Wenger admitted he expects Sanchez to make a decision soon.

“I don’t control the timetable, but it could be today, tomorrow, or not at all,” said Wenger.
“It will be settled in the next 48 hours.”

Manchester City have chased Sanchez since the summer, but recent reports suggest they may hesitate to meet Arsenal’s £35million price tag.

When questioned about Sanchez after City’s loss at Liverpool, coach Pep Guardiola responded, “He is an Arsenal player. I focus on the players in my current squad. We have four competitions and a lot of games ahead, and we will continue to try.”
